Eileen Oxman has led the Weekday School Pre-K class for over 37 years. Mrs. Oxman is the lead teacher of the Oaks’ class. A veteran preschool professional, Eileen is the gold standard of preschool teachers, modeling excellence in all aspects of the job. With her wealth of experience and knowledge, Eileen still approaches every day and every class with the same excitement and zeal as if it were her first.

Valerie Hoover assists Mrs. Oxman in the Pre-K Oaks’ classroom. This is Valerie’s fourth year at the Weekday School. Valerie’s two children, now young adults, attended the Weekday School and are thrilled that she is working with their favorite teacher. “Professor Hoover” plans and implements engaging science lessons in the Oaks’ classroom and loves teaching through cooking projects with her preschool students.

Kim Campbell, a Weekday School teacher of 20 years, leads the Sunflowers’ class. (Five-day threes). Because of her expertise and experience, Kim holds the title of Master teacher, as she mentors her fellow three-year-old teachers, providing peer guidance and sharing teaching practices, curriculum and enrichment ideas, and classroom management tips. Kim is our faculty representative on the Weekday School Advisory Board, serving as a liaison between teachers, administration, and parents.

Kate Kopp assists Mrs. Campbell in the Sunflowers’ class. This is Kate’s ninth year at WDS and her 9th year teaching with Mrs. Campbell. Mrs. Kopp previously worked as a librarian and loves introducing her students to the wonderful world of books. Mrs. Campbell and Mrs. Kopp are the dynamic duo of teaching three-year-olds, creating a magical world for the Sunflower children.

Nancy Healy, who leads the Sprouts class, returns to the Weekday School after a brief absence, during which she gained a master’s degree in early childhood and elementary education. This is Nancy’s sixth year at the Weekday School. Nancy pairs her unique pizzazz and excitement with her informed knowledge and methodology of teaching young children to create an enriching and fun learning environment.

Judy Potter leads the Seedlings class (2 years and 7 months). Judy has been teaching at the Weekday School for six years and has over 26 years of experience in early childhood education. Mrs. Potter nurtures and cares for each child, providing a joyful first experience for our littlest learners. Mrs. Potter alternates teaching yoga, music, and movement each Wednesday. Judy is a certified 300-Hour Yoga Instructor and a ChildLight Yoga Instructor and holds certificates in Music Education and Mindfulness and Meditation.
