The Environmental Justice Committee at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church helps us thoughtfully engage with and care for God’s creation. As faithful stewards of the environment, we seek to live out the Christian calling to protect, preserve, and nurture the world God has entrusted to us.

We serve as witnesses, advocates, educators, practitioners, and catalysts—encouraging our congregation and wider community to embrace creation care in daily life.

What We Do:

  • Offer educational opportunities on environmental topics
  • Promote environmental awareness within the church
  • Support sustainability efforts to green the BMPC campus

BMPC is proud to be certified as an Earth Care Congregation by the Presbyterian Church (USA), recognizing our commitment to environmental stewardship in worship, education, outreach, and property care.

Our Current Focus:
One key initiative is the nurturing of native plants on our church grounds. Native plants support local wildlife, conserve water, and foster healthier ecosystems. We encourage members to join this effort by planting native in their own yards and gardens.
