At Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, we believe Christ calls us to serve not only within the church walls—but out in the community. Through long-standing partnerships and a shared commitment to justice, compassion, and hope, we work to be good neighbors in the Philadelphia region.


There are many ways you can get involved:

Support Local Families and Refugees

Walk alongside refugee families and asylum seekers as they build new lives here. Volunteers help with:

  • Transportation
  • Tutoring & school support
  • Healthcare navigation
  • Language learning
  • …and above all, offering dignity and friendship

Fight Hunger in Our Region

Through BMPC’s Hunger Committee, we support over 17 local partners. Join us by:


Invest in Youth & Community Enrichment

Our Outreach Committee partners with West Philly churches and organizations to:

  • Empower children and families
  • Support community growth
  • Build meaningful, long-term relationships

Care for God’s Creation

Our Environmental Justice Committee helps us live our faith by:

  • Hosting environmental education and advocacy events
  • Planting native species on our campus
  • Promoting climate stewardship

Promote Justice and Build Peace

Through Peacemaking & Anti-Racism ministries, we:

  • Advocate for racial equity and human rights
  • Engage in gun violence prevention and interfaith dialogue
  • Partner with grassroots initiatives to address systemic injustice
