At Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, we believe Christ calls us to serve not only within the church walls—but out in the community. Through long-standing partnerships and a shared commitment to justice, compassion, and hope, we work to be good neighbors in the Philadelphia region.

There are many ways you can get involved:

Support Local Families and Refugees

Walk alongside refugee families and asylum seekers as they build new lives here. Volunteers help with:

Transportation
Tutoring & school support
Healthcare navigation
Language learning
…and above all, offering dignity and friendship

Fight Hunger in Our Region

Through BMPC’s Hunger Committee, we support over 17 local partners. Join us by:

Attending a monthly Casserole Blitz
Donating to seasonal food drives
Giving to the Hunger Fund to extend our reach

Invest in Youth & Community Enrichment

Our Outreach Committee partners with West Philly churches and organizations to:

Empower children and families
Support community growth
Build meaningful, long-term relationships

Care for God’s Creation

Our Environmental Justice Committee helps us live our faith by:

Hosting environmental education and advocacy events
Planting native species on our campus
Promoting climate stewardship

Promote Justice and Build Peace

Through Peacemaking & Anti-Racism ministries, we:

Advocate for racial equity and human rights
Engage in gun violence prevention and interfaith dialogue
Partner with grassroots initiatives to address systemic injustice
